Perception In Your PocketPsychosocial hazard coaching

When your people say “I need to talk,” they shouldn’t get a voicemail.

PIYP delivers on-demand psychosocial hazard coaching for NDIS, aged care, housing and community organisations. Same-day access to a trained practitioner, seven days a week, with no session caps. You pay only for support that’s actually delivered.

No lock-in contract. No minimum spend. Unused credit rolls forward.

Open when your roster is

Available across all 24 hours, every day of the week

2am, in a group home, after a hard shift. That’s when most programs are closed. Ours isn’t.

The program you’re paying for probably isn’t being used

Traditional EAPs were built for office workers with a free lunch hour. Frontline teams hit the same walls again and again.

  • Triage lines and call-backs instead of a real conversation
  • Waitlists of days or weeks for a first session
  • Support capped at around six sessions per issue
  • Hand-offs to outside contractors you’ve never met
  • Little you can show a regulator or your board about duty of care
~5%

Average EAP use across Australian workplaces is commonly put at around 5% of staff each year.1 In a 100-person team, that’s 95 people you’re paying to cover who never get help.

Built for the way care work actually happens

Progress and performance, not just crisis management. We help your people move forward, not only catch them when they fall.

Same-day access

Staff book directly with a trained practitioner, usually the same day. No triage queue.

Seven days, after hours

Evenings, weekends and overnight are included, so shift workers aren’t left out.

No session caps

Support continues for as long as it’s helping, with the same practitioner where possible.

Pay per use

Billed by the minute for support delivered. No per-head fees for people who never call.

Everything in house

Every practitioner is PIYP-trained and supervised. We never outsource to a contractor network.

De-identified reporting

Aggregated usage and themes you can take to WHS, safeguarding and board meetings. Never names, never session content.

Made for organisations that carry the emotional load

NDIS providers

Support for staff working with behavioural complexity, plus de-identified records to sit alongside your quality systems.

Aged care providers

Help with grief and emotional load, available around every roster.

Housing and community support

Continuity with the same practitioner and clear escalation pathways when things get serious.

Councils, allied health and mid-sized employers

Teams of roughly 50 to 300 who want support woven into their culture, not a generic template.

Is this you?

  • HR manager
  • WHS lead
  • Quality and safeguarding manager
  • Operations director
  • CEO of a mid-sized provider

If you’ve ever renewed an EAP contract and wondered who actually used it, let’s talk.

Part of how you manage psychosocial risk

Since 1 April 2023, Queensland employers have been required to identify and manage psychosocial hazards under the WHS Regulation and an enforceable Code of Practice.2 Other states have followed with their own versions.

Accessible support for workers is one control among many. PIYP delivers psychosocial hazard coaching your people will actually use, plus de-identified records to show what’s been provided.

“The hardest moments don’t happen in boardrooms. They happen in living rooms, group homes and aged-care wings at 2am.”
Andrew Denniss, PIYP

Human-led, AI-supported

Every practitioner is handpicked and completes our 18-week Master Practitioner program before working with your people. Sessions are supervised, practitioners are insured, and our team monitors quality in real time.

They coach your people through the psychosocial hazards of the work itself: emotional load, exposure to distress, conflict, fatigue and hard shifts. Technology helps with booking, notes and reporting. The conversation is always with a person.

Clear about what we are

PIYP provides coaching, mentoring and applied wellbeing support. We are not a medical, crisis or emergency service. When someone needs more than we provide, we help them connect with their GP or the right service quickly.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 000. For 24/7 crisis support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Questions buyers ask us

Is it confidential for staff?

Yes. Staff book directly and what they discuss stays between them and their practitioner. Employers see only aggregated, de-identified information such as hours used and general themes. The limits to confidentiality, such as a serious risk to someone’s safety, are explained to every person up front.

How is this different from a traditional EAP?

Traditional programs usually charge per head, cap sessions and route people through triage or outside contractors. PIYP is pay per use, uncapped, available after hours, and delivered by our own trained team from first contact.

Is this a medical service?

No. PIYP is a coaching, mentoring and applied wellbeing service. That makes it fast and practical for everyday pressures, stress and hard shifts. Where someone needs medical or specialist support, we help them connect with the right care.

What does it cost to get started?

There’s no setup fee on the scoping call and no lock-in. You load credit at $5 per minute of support delivered, and unused credit rolls forward.

Can we run it alongside our current EAP?

Yes. Some organisations start with a single site or team, such as after-hours staff, and compare use before their current contract is up.

Real support. No caps, no waste, no waiting.

A 30-minute scoping call, no cost. We’ll learn about your team and your obligations, and you’ll leave with clear pricing whether or not we work together.
